John Monahan

John Monahan is a Writer, Director and Comedian from Belfast. He began making short films at a young age and throughout his studies at university.

In 2021 he launched Moonbeam Productions Ltd with Declan Proctor. Together they produced award winning short films "Pitbulls (2021)" and "Owner of a Loney Heart (2023)". They continue to develop and produce short form content including documentary and promotional materials.

He has also directed award winning music videos for NI bands Search Party and Wynona Bleach. He continues to work as a filmmaker and stand-up comedian.
