About the Story
A collective of queer sex workers retreat into the quiet embrace of the woods for an unconventional getaway: a playful, self-made “workshop in the wild.” As they reenact lighthearted versions of their daily work scenarios among the trees and the water, they exchange hard-won wisdom, practical tricks of the trade, and rituals that help them stay grounded and joyful. What begins as a series of humorous role-plays evolves into a candid celebration of community, nature, resilience, and care.
This film was produced during a three-day creative media retreat for sex workers, supported by Red Insight, an independent media platform created by and for sex workers.
