About the Story
The story follows Partha, a final-year IIM student, whose life is upended when his father, Pranab, reveals he has cancer and a secret boyfriend, Martin. This revelation devastates Partha and his mother, Anu. As Martin moves into their home during Pranab’s final days, tension and emotional complexity arise. While Partha is initially angry and protective of his mother, Anu’s compassionate response sets a tone of reluctant acceptance.
Amidst the turmoil, Partha grapples with anger, confusion about his sexuality, and moral dilemmas. Unexpectedly, he and Martin form an uneasy bond that evolves into a secret romantic relationship, intensifying Partha’s inner conflict. As Pranab's health declines, Partha navigates his emotions, finding solace in his relationship with Martin, even as his father’s impending loss casts a shadow over his personal growth.
As Pranab’s health declines, the household becomes a cauldron of emotions. After Pranab’s peaceful passing, Martin quietly departs, leaving Partha heartbroken once again. Partha’s longing for Martin lingers, as he reflects on their brief but intense connection—a love as fleeting and powerful as winter rain.
This film is a deeply moving exploration of love, betrayal, forgiveness, and self-discovery. It captures the complexities of human relationships and the painful journey of embracing hidden truths in the face of loss.
